COVID -19 Safety

Feeling comfortable and secure is important for clients and therapists alike. With this in mind, the following points will hopefully help to address any questions you might have.

  • Please feel free to bring bring a face covering, if you feel more comfortable wearing one during the treatment. I am happy to wear a face covering, if requested.

  • Upon arrival hand sanitiser and hand-washing facilities are accessible en-suite.

  • There will only be one client and one therapist in the treatment room at one time (unless client needs to be accompanied).

  • All bookings are to be made in advance.

  • Please do not attend a treatment if you are feeling unwell with symptoms that could be COVID-19 related.

  • Clients with COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to defer their appointment for a further two weeks.

  • Sufficient time gaps are being practiced to allow to sanitise all the areas necessary.

  • I have successfully completed an ITEC Level 2 Training Course in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Complementary Therapies and Sport Massage.

  • The room is ventilated in between clients.

  • Fresh sheets are used as standard for each massage client.

Please arrive on time but no more than 5 minutes before your appointment, thereby ensuring adequate distancing and reducing the risk of client-to-client contact transmission.

Please do not book if:

  • You have developed any of the following symptoms: new cough, temperature, loss of sense of smell or taste, feel generally unwell or have had a positive test result.

  • You have to self-isolate or quarantine in line with Covid restrictions or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or you have been contacted by the track, trace and isolate team within the last 14 days and have been told to isolate.

Please call if you would like to discuss any concerns before coming in. If feeling unwell please let me know in advance and we can discuss if your appointment can be rearranged.
